SLDC Pauses CertifySTL Business Certification Program
What CertifySTL Business Certification Program Participants Need to Know:
Due to changes in federal policies impacting federal funding to municipalities which operate diversity, equity, and inclusion related programming, the CertifySTL program has been paused until further notice while the City works to accommodate the changed federal landscape.
Certified firms are encouraged to engage with CertifySTL for further information about how this announcement may impact them.
CertifySTL’s directory of Certified M/WBE firms will remain accessible but will not be updated to remove or add any businesses. Businesses looking to verify certification to other entities may direct the entity to the certification directory for evidence of certification as of the date of this announcement.
CertifySTL will not process currently pending applications for new certifications, certification expansion, or certification renewals, nor accept new applications until further notice.
New applicants: We will not be adding any new certifications to the directory until further notice, but your application materials will be maintained.
Current certified firms: No changes will be made to your certification status until further notice. Your certification materials can be accessed at any time at: https://sldc.gob2g.com/
Pending renewals: Your firm will remain on the certification directory and no changes will be made until further notice. Your certification materials can be accessed at any time at: https://sldc.gob2g.com/

For Compliance Monitoring:
Due to changes in federal policies impacting federal funding to municipalities which operate diversity, equity, and inclusion related programming, compliance monitoring and enforcement related to Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise utilization, and Minority and Women labor participation goals have been paused until further notice while the City works to accommodate the changed federal landscape.
Compliance monitoring and enforcement of Prevailing Wage, City Resident utilization, and Apprentice utilization requirements remains in effect, and St. Louis Development Corporation will continue to monitor such requirements through the GPTS and HeadCount platforms. Developers and General Contractors are encouraged to engage with St. Louis Development Corporation’s Compliance Office for further information about how this announcement may impact ongoing projects.
